Our Story

I opened Woody's Wag n Wash as a tribute to my heart dog, the one we lost far too early.

Woody was the sweetest, most loving, most loyal boy I've ever known. He was also highly anxious and reactive, and that made the world a hard place for him. Outings were stressful for both of us — I ached watching him get so upset, and I'll admit I felt embarrassed too, that after thousands of dollars in training and endless exercise, I still couldn't stop the high-pitched barking the second he saw another dog.

So the groomer was out of the question. I'd wash him at home instead, then sit and wait 6+ hours while my two big dogs got finished somewhere across town — stressed the whole time, wishing there were a better way.

That better way is this business. I didn't build Woody's Wag n Wash just to groom dogs. I built it to give owners and their fur babies the calm, peaceful, one-on-one experience I so desperately wanted back when it was me and my Woody boy — no cages, no chaos, no other dogs, no all-day wait. Just your dog, cared for gently, right in your own driveway.
